Vintage Dental Tooth Plugger 2 Way Surgical Tool Black Celluloid Handle E D TREY

Here is one of 4 vintage / antique dental tools found in a 1933 cigar box. I am not an expert on dental tools, but this appears to be some kind of 2 way tooth plugger. this tool has a rounded octagon shaped black celluloid handle with a octagon shaped shaft that is shaped like sewing awl or wood awl. it can be twisted off and out of handle with a chisel / file like opposite end that has a coating of rust on it. stamped in one of the small octagons in shaft near black handle is "E D TREY" with a "3" underneath on another octagon. measures approximately 5 3/4" assembled. there is a few faint spots of oxidation on shaft in some areas. please view all pics and view my other dental instruments found with this one in my store. sold as is as found.
