VINTAGE DE TREY'S SYNTHETIC PORCELAIN CAULK DENTISTRY WOODEN BOX OLD ADVERTISING

Description

An early 20th century De Trey's Synthetic Porcelain Caulk dentistry box (De Trey Gesellchaft). It is a finger-jointed dark mahogany wood box with a front clasp.  The inside of the lid is lined with velvet and printed in gilt letters "De Trey's Synthetic Porcelain Caulk."  It does not come with any of the caulk or tools. The hinges work well.  The front clasp is a little "sticky."
Rare and beautiful box with lots of character.  Great piece of dental history.
Box measures approximately 11.5" W x 5" H x 5.5" W
VERY GOOD USED CONDITION WITH MINIMAL WEAR
I believe it is missing a chain hinge that would connect the top of the box to the bottom. Felt on the bottom is worn.  There are some scratches on the exterior of the box.
