Description

This incredible shirt is from the last concert of the first incarnation of KING CRIMSON. The shirt was created by Bill Graham's Winterland Productions for the band's December, 1969 show at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, which turned out to be their last live show for several years. Only Robert Fripp remained with the band after the show. It is the design for the album cover of In the Court of the Crimson King, My sister brought it back from the show. Unfortunately, I was too young to attend although I have seen them several times over the years. Pretty much every great U.K. musician has played with this band at some point...from founder's Robert Fripp and Michael Giles to Greg Lake, Adrian Belew, Bill Bruford, Ian McDonald, Keith Tippett, Gordon Haskell, John Wetton and recently, Bill Rieflin of Ministry and REM fame.
This blue, one-sided shirt is a vintage, screen-printed, concert tour, 100% cotton, pre-shrunk, Medium, beige, Anvil t-shirt. The artwork and coloration on this shirt is absolutely gorgeous...no cracking, no fading, no stains, no holes, just perfect!! This is not a reissue or one of the many digital photo bootlegs that you see on eBay from China, Indonesia and Bulgaria.
Pit to pit 18" Neck to hem 27" collar to hem 29"  There is no dry rot in this shirt.
This is from a huge collection of vintage, licensed t-shirts from a closed record store, that have been in storage for over 25 years. They have never been worn or washed but may be a little dusty. And this shirt has been in my collection for 50 years.
T
here are no returns on shirts. I do not sell shirts to Indonesia or Bulgaria.
