Bach Stradivarius 180 Bb Trumpet, #152719 1978 NEW Silver Plating

Description

This is a rescued school horn. I hoard trumpets, but do not need 6 Bach trumpets. This was originally a filthy brass horn with a corroded leadpipe, a lot of handling wear and some dents. John Cyfer replaced the corroded lead with a new Bach lead- standard, removed dents, cleaned the horn and applied a new silver plate. It has a gold washed bell. It really looks new. The case has a different number marked on it- there were four available I was only able to grab one, cases got mismatched, but correct for trumpet age. Original clasps are gone, replaced with latches. 1978 manufacture date-when they were very well made. As stated, plays fabulous...I do not need 6. I would have kept it a while if he was able to out on a #7 lead- really want to try one, but this has the standard, I prefer my Harry James or my Martin dual bore Symphony.
