    Description

Inserted in an Operating Rules binder, this approximately 9" x 5", 400+ pages soft-cover, six-ring manual is actually "Northeast Corridor Employee Timetable No. 3, effective January 18, 2010."    It was produced by Amtrak in 2010 to provide operating employees with detailed schedules and special instructions for the hundreds of trains traversing Amtrak-owned property in the Northeast Corridor (Washington, DC-New York City-Boston). In addition to schedules, the book contains detailed information on engine types, car types and restrictions on their use in certain locations on the railroad as well as how to deal with unusual occurrences. There is also a section after the 400 pages of text for the employee to enter Records of Examination during inspections. There is also a special appendix in addition to the 400 pages that details emergency operations procedures. Very interesting.
Pages inside are in like new condition. The binder has a dent along one binding edge. See pics.
