1974 Chicago Coin Speed Shift EM Aracde. This game is fully functional can use coin or use free play button. Original sound board was missing so created my own sounds but you can change sounds yourself if desired using the recordable usb module. Very rare game a lot of fun and does actually help teach the lost art of shifting.
    The good..
This was fully gone through couple years ago all mechanical parts cleaned and lubed as needed.
    Topper is a reproduction.
Schematic and original game manual included.
    Original toy car
Blown up framed promo flyer included
Game is on rollers easily moved around. The seat section comes off for shipping.
    The not so great...
As mentioned original sound boards and amplifier missing in place used a pc speaker and amplifier u can adjust volume.
A couple Jones plugs were removed and wire nuts in place. This however does not effect the operation or shipping nothing in that section needs removed.
Chicago Coin vinyl decal added to back seat but is coming off. Another new one comes with the game.
This by no means is a high end restoration many flaws can be found cosmetically. To the average person the game looks nice but if your a hard core collector please look closely ask questions I do not want to disappoint anyone.

    Game play details.
The player moves the car from side to side by steering. Inside, what appears to be the road is actually a drum that's illuminated by a light bulb inside it. The drum is black with clear spaces that when playing, rotate faster or slower depending on the how hard the player steps on the accelerator to simulating the car moving. The game has a staging tree to let the player know when to start and stop. It also comes with a clutch that has to be used for shifting or else a light will light up indicating that the car engine blew up.
